Local Giveaway Information and Thinx panties will be provided this Saturday at the Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition and HOPE for Georgia Moms is sponsoring The Bump & Beyond, an exciting maternal health fair event in Savannah on March 9, from 9-3pm. This event offers many incentives for new and expectant mothers to attend so they can receive information that promotes their well-being and reinforces the importance of having health care coverage, including:

• Free community-based services like mobile health care.

• Important health information from experts on pregnancy and postpartum periods as well as guidance on Medicaid and/or PeachCare for Kids® coverage.

• Sample products like diapers, wipes, and more.

• Opportunities to connect with other parents and parents-to-be to share experiences and advice.

• Door prizes such as car seats, diaper bags, strollers, baby gear and more drawn every 30 minutes.

• Free grocery distribution and free snack

Sadly, the Meals of Hope monthly distribution is shutting down and February 17th is our last giveaway event with this program through Oasis of Hope and the Edgemere-Sackville Neighborhood Association. Stay tuned for more details as we decide our new plan to get diapers and period supplies to the Savannah families who need them most!
